Privacy Policy
Learn how Saymple processes pasted text, public links, uploaded files, account details, browser history and optional shared results.
Last updated: 2026-08-13
What Saymple does
Saymple rewrites text, public webpages, documents, and images into clearer, plain-language versions. A link or uploaded document is first sent to the content-reading services needed to extract its text. The extracted text or image is then sent to the AI services needed to produce your result.
What happens to your content
- Your content is sent only to necessary providers to read the source and generate the result you requested. Saymple does not use it to train models.
- When signed out, history stays in your browser. When you sign in, your input, simplified results, and usage records are stored in your Saymple account so they can sync across devices. Existing local history is imported on first sign-in.
- Share links are optional. When you create one, Saymple stores the simplified result so people with the link can view it.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name and email address when you create an account.
- Share data — the simplified content you choose to share, its creation date, and visit count.
- Basic usage data — request counts used for credits, account usage, abuse prevention, and service reliability.
Cookies and local storage
Saymple uses a cookie to keep you signed in and local storage to remember your theme and signed-out history cache. Saymple does not use third-party advertising cookies.
Data sharing
Saymple does not sell personal information. Data is shared only with providers needed to operate the service, to comply with legal obligations, or to protect users and the service.
Data security
Saymple uses HTTPS and access controls to protect data. No Internet transmission method is completely secure.
